One who is equipoised is one who is the same in happiness and in distress, in victory and in failure, in success and in defeat.
In both these situations, one who remains same, THAT PERSON HAS PROGRESSED.
So, pain is a part of God's design. God has made this world with dualities.
There is light and there is darkness.
There is good and there is bad.
There is dharma and there is adharma.
Similarly, God has created pleasure and pain.
But we naturally want to run after pleasure and avoid pain, this is natural.
If you want to succeed in life, you have to learn to tolerate pain.
The sign of maturity is that even though something is painful, we are still willing to do it, because
IT'S FOR THE ULTIMATE GOOD.
